  • Letter to Parents
    Dear Visitor,
Welcome to our Farmington Middle School web page. Our goal is to give students the tools they need to become citizens who are academically prepared, service minded and strong in character. We want our visitors to see that structuring our classrooms to teach specifically to the genders and their unique qualities will create environments of acceptance, tolerance and confidence that extend into every core subject. We want our students to make a clear transition into an atmosphere that promotes social acceptance and a freedom to express their ideas and creativity. It is my desire as principal to be approachable and always clear in my mission to set high standards. Please contact me by e-mail or telephone if you ever have any questions or concerns.
Life is good at Farmington Middle School!

  • School Information
School doors open at 7:20am, please do not drop off your student before this time.

The office will not accept calls after 2:30pm to change how a student is going home. It is extremely busy and hard to get blue notes out that late. Please contact the office before 2:30pm if your child needs to change how they normally go home. Also, if you need to check out your student please do so before 2:30pm as the front doors will be locked at that time.

Please check out all students through the front office. We cannot check out students in the 5th grade building. Again, this is for your child’s safety.
  • Lunch Times
    4th Grade - 10:50am to 11:20am
    5th Grade - 11:20am to 11:50am
    6th Grade - 11:50am to 12:20pm
  • Important Information
In order to improve our campus security, and to keep our students safe, the district has installed a new security system at Farmington Middle School. The buzzer system allows us to control access to the school. The instructions are posted on our front doors. You must check all students in and out at the front office. Please be patient as we all learn this new system.
  • School Hours
Classes begin at 7:50am and end at 2:50pm.

  • 2019/2020 End of School Year Information
    Dear Parents/Guardians,
We want to thank you and your students for all the hard work and dedication during these difficult times. We appreciate your patience as we shifted to distance education. Below are some updates and information on the rest of the school year.
Students will complete their general education online classwork on Friday, May 8, 2020. If they were working on a packet, they should turn in their completed paper packets on May 8 as well. Students should use the last two weeks of school to complete any and all block classwork. You can also watch the State PBS AMI Television programming for additional fun and learning the last two weeks. Again, make sure all assignments are turned in to Google Classroom, and AMI packets are returned to the front lobby boxes.
We will be holding a drive-through pick up for the safety of all involved. We ask that you remain in your vehicle. There will be teachers to help with delivering belongings to your car and getting the Chromebooks, library books, and anything else that might need to be returned to school.
The following dates and times are scheduled for each grade level. Please remember to stay in your vehicle, and there will be someone to assist you.
Grade levels, dates, and times are:
    4th Grade: Monday, May 18, 8:00-1:00
    5th Grade: Tuesday, May 19, 8:00-1:00
    6th Grade: Wednesday, May 20, 8:00-1:00
If you are unable to pick-up/drop-off on your grade designated day, you may come Thursday, May 21, or Friday, May 22, 8:00-1:00.
    Thank you,
    Julia Williams
